PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which the number of photographed sheets can be checked easily. SOLUTION: A CPU 21 counts the number of sheets of an image photographed after detection of the start of photography break time by turn on power before detection of the end of photography break time by turn off power and stores the count in a flash memory 22, for example, and then displays the number of sheets photographed during that period on an LCD 24.
