PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing securing strength of an engaging claws 6 of a synthetic resin retainer and not producing rattle of a retainer easily even if inner diameter of a bearing is small or diameter of balls of bearing is small. SOLUTION: The ball bearing includes the synthetic resin retainer 4 having hemispherical pockets 7 storing a ball 3 formed on facing surfaces of two annular bodies 6a, 6b facing in an axial direction at even intervals in a circumference direction, having an engagement groove 11 OUT opening an outer circumference of the annular body 6a and extending in an axial direction formed between adjacent pockets 7, 7 of the annular body 6a, and provided with engaging claws 9 OUT for annular body engagement engaging the annular body 6a by inserting in the engagement groove 1 OUT between adjacent pockets 7, 7 of the annular body 6b, and retains the balls 3 between an inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2 by the synthetic resin retainer 4.
