The invention relates to a vehicle exterior mirror module with a mirror glass component, comprising at least one mirror glass and at least one luminous element attached thereto. At least one of the luminous elements is a luminous film. The luminous film(s) is (are) arranged behind the mirror glass. In the region of the luminous films the mirroring of the mirror glass is, at least in regions, partly or semi-transparent. According to the invention, a vehicle exterior mirror module is provided, in which at least one luminous means is integrated in a space-saving manner and which is connected in such a manner as to be able to be simply and securely assembled with little cabling requirement.
