The hinge is made from a sheet material. An elongated horizontally running U-shaped section is taken into an eyeglass frame through a laser. The section is spring elastic in a direction of an eyeglass central section. A bend is supported at an end of the U-shaped section in a horizontal direction. The eyeglass central section is provided at the frame facing end with the U-shaped section.
