<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine capable of improving mounting properties of the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: In the exhaust emission control device provided with a storage reduction type NOx catalyst 3 arranged in an exhaust pipe 2 of the engine 1, a bypass pipe 4 having one end connected to an exhaust pipe in an upstream side of the NOx catalyst 3 and having another end connected to an exhaust pipe in a downstream of the NOx catalyst 3, and a bypass valve 5 provided in the bypass pipe 4 and capable of changing over a position between a position permitting circulation of exhaust gas into the bypass pipe 4 and a position blocking circulation of exhaust gas, a pressure difference sensor 7 including a plurality of pressure detection part 7 is provided. The pressure detection parts 7 different each other of a plurality of the pressure detection part 7 are connected to the bypass pipe 4 in an upstream side of the bypass valve 5 and the bypass pipe 4 in a downstream side of the bypass valve 5 respectively, and pressure difference sensor 6 is arranged near the bypass valve 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
