<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation controller which can detect the abnormality of its contact state, without fail. <P>SOLUTION: The power generation controller 1 adjusts the output voltage of a generator 2 for a vehicle or the voltage of a battery into specified adjusted voltage, by controlling an exciting current applied to the exciting winding 204 of the generator 2 for a vehicle. The controller is equipped with an exciting current drive transistor 11, which is connected in series with the exciting winding 204; a voltage control circuit 40 which compares the output voltage of the generator 2 for a vehicle with the adjusted voltage and intermittently controls the exciting current drive transistor 11 so that these voltages become adjusted voltages, and a contact resistance detecting circuit 20 which detects the abnormality in a contact state of the output terminal of the generator 2 for a vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
