<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamper for an information recording medium used when a thin disk whose eccentricity is reduced is molded with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: The stamper 100 for the information recording medium is provided with a ruggedness formation part 13 for transferring a fine pattern to the information recording medium on the surface of a stamper main body 11 and a cylindrical protrusion part 12 formed in the position corresponding to an inner peripheral hole of the information recording medium and having Vickers hardness of 450 or more.
