PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a mental burden on a subject, to reduce bending of a bed top plate, and to reduce the sizes of a bed device. SOLUTION: On an extended line of the sending-out direction in the lengthwise direction of a top plate 12 for placing the subject 10 of the bed device 11, a gantry 21 is positioned. In the one gantry 21, the PET detection part 3 and CT scanning part 41 aligned with a tunnel part 22 are arranged closely each other. The gantry 21 is arranged on a rotation mechanism 23, and held rotatably around the vertical axis of the gantry. The gantry is rotated by 180°so that the PET detection part 31 may be on a side close to the bed device 11 in the case of carrying out PET examination so that the CT scanning part 41 may be on a side close to the bed device 11 in the case of carrying out X-ray CT examination, the quantity of insertion of the subject 10 into the tunnel part 22 is reduced in both cases.
