A passenger sorting method for a vehicle is provided to sort passengers more minutely and exactly according to weight of the passengers, thereby preventing lighting of a telltale lamp from being unnecessarily repeated. A passenger sorting method for a vehicle comprises steps of sorting passengers by comparing a weight value detected by a weight detection apparatus with threshold values stored in a control unit(S20), and re-sorting the passengers by comparing a weight value detected after the previous sorting step with reference values which are beyond a range of the previous sorting. The re-sorting step further comprises steps of being inputting a type of the passengers determined by the control unit(S40), comparing the weight value with any one of the reference values by the control unit(S52), performing the reference comparison step continuously for a predetermined time and storing hysteresis of the weight value in the control unit(S54), and changing the type of passengers input to the control unit when the weight value is continuously beyond the range of any one of the reference values during the step of hysteresis(S60). |
