<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a generating set that is interconnected to a system easily self-operated or stopped in the self operation during the power interruption of the system. <P>SOLUTION: This power supply device comprises a system interconnection control part 7 that makes an output of the generating set 1 interconnected to and paralleled off from the system 9, and feeds the output of the generating set 1 to a load 10 by making it interconnected to the system 9. The power supply device also comprises a selection switch 24 that selects the operation mode of the generating set 1. The operation mode is an interconnection operation mode that stops the operation of the generating set 1 when the power interruption of the system 9 is detected, and also is a self-operation mode that operates the generating set 1 by separating the output of the generating set 1 from the system 9 when the power interruption of the system 9 is detected.
