<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium feeder without reducing visibility and operability of edge guides, even if the height of the feeder becomes large. <P>SOLUTION: This feeder has a hopper 11 and a support member 15, and comprises the first edge guide 17 arranged in the hopper 11 and the second edge guide 18 arranged in the support member 15. The first edge guide 17 and the second edge guide 18 engage so that the first edge guide 17 performs displacement operation by following this operation when the second edge guide 18 is displaced.
