<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device generating no coating failure such as coating unevenness even when a multi coating layer is formed on the web surface, capable of coating according to the liquid properties of coating materials, and capable of positively recovering surplus coating materials. <P>SOLUTION: The coating devices 1 are disposed with given intervals, and provided with a plurality of curtain heads 21, 22, 23, 24, and a guide sheet 3. The curtain heads jet coating materials t1, t2, t3, t4 downward.
