PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of viewing a broadcasting station that a user has been allocated to a tuning button, using the same tuning button as much as possible even in the area of a moving destination. SOLUTION: In tuning button allocation processing in the first (previous) processing, broadcasting stations are individually allocated to tuning buttons by user operation. Based on this allocation, a CPU 209 creates a position setting table whereon tuning button numbers and broadcasting station identification IDs are made to correspond to each other. In tuning button re-allocation processing caused by changing a reception area because of moving, channel scanning is carried out. In such a case, assuming that a broadcasting station identification ID acquired from a certain broadcasting wave is "2" and a frequency for receiving the broadcasting wave is xxx MHz, the CPU 209 reallocates (updates), in a tuning table corresponding to the position setting table, frequency information (xxx MHz) for receiving the broadcasting wave into a tuning button having "2" as the broadcasting station identification ID.
