PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel substance which is a natural substance originally existing in the natural world and can be used as an antibacterial or bactericidal agent in the agricultural field and the industrial field. SOLUTION: The industrial antibacterial or bactericidal agent has 2-amino-3-cyclopropylbutanoic acid as an active ingredient. This active ingredient compound can be extracted and isolated from Amanita cokeri of one kind of mushroom. The compound can be also extracted and isolated from Amanita castanopsidis Hongo of one kind of mushroom, and also can be produced by a chemical synthesis method.
