PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production by which a high-purity fluorine-containing acrylic ester derivative is readily obtained in high yield. SOLUTION: The method for producing the fluorine-containing acrylic ester derivative represented by formula (3) (wherein, R<SP>2</SP>represents a 1-8C straight-chain or a 1-8C branched alkyl group, a phenyl group or a benzyl group) is carried out as follows. A fluorine-containing tin compound represented by formula (1) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>represents a 1-8C alkyl group) is reacted with a halogenoformic ester derivative represented by formula (2) äwherein, R<SP>2</SP>is the same as in formula (3); and X represents a halogen element} in the presence of a transition metal catalyst and a monovalent copper compound.
