PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve the supporting rigidity of a slide rail for supporting a seat cushion of an occupant's seat movably in a fore-and-aft direction of a vehicle body with simple structure. SOLUTION: In seat mounting structure of an automobile in which the slide rail 6 for supporting the seat cushion 2 of the occupant's seat 4 movably in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle body is upwardly inclined at a predetermined elevation angle and is provided inside a cabin, a cross member 5 including a bulged part 9 bulged to an upper part of the vehicle body from a floor panel 1 inside the cabin with a prescribed longitudinal width is extended in a vehicle width direction, and an upper wall surface of the cross member 5 is inclined at an angle corresponding to the elevation angle of the slide rail 6 so as to attach the slide rail 6 to the upper wall surface of the cross member 5.
