PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor that eliminates the risk of causing an insulation failure of an air-core coil. SOLUTION: This stepping motor includes an annular stator core 31 having a plurality of pole teeth that stand at the inside circumferential edge, and an air-core coil 33 fitted around the pole teeth. An insulating film 50 is formed on the surface of the air-core coil 33, and an insulating sheet 40 is provided between the end surface 33h in the axial direction of the air-core coil 33 and the stator core 31.
