<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is equipped with the function of determining a preferred position on paper, in terms of editing and postprocessing when a poster printing function or an enlarging and continuous shooting function and another edit function are combined together. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises: a first function setting part which sets a first printing function of printing split images, acquired by splitting an image into a plurality of parts, on different pieces of paper, respectively; a second function setting part which sets a second printing function as an edit function or a postprocessing function, different from the first printing function; and a printing function processing part which determines the position on the paper for performing the editing or postprocessing of the second printing function, on the basis of the state of constituting one image by combining the respective pieces of paper, output depending on the first printing function, when a combination of the first printing function and the second printing function is set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
