<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a write-once optical recording medium of high recording density having a satisfactory jitter, wherein addresses can be stably read out by enhancing the quality of a wobble signal and lowering the value of an address error rate, and to provide its optical recording method. <P>SOLUTION: In the write-once optical recording medium having at least an inorganic recording layer (a Re layer) wherein recording and reproduction can be performed by using laser beams of 400 to 410 nm wavelengths on a substrate on which a guide groove with wobbles of 0.39 to 0.41 μm track pitches and conforming to specifications of an HD DVD-R, the amplitude Aw (nm) of the wobble and the depth Dg (nm) of the guide groove satisfy a relation of Aw×Dg=120 to 500. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
