PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the original-point positions of a first and a second drive system existing on one axis of a gantry mechanism and to allow returning to original points while automatically correcting errors about the positions of the two drive systems. SOLUTION: A deceleration point limit switch 4Y is installed at either the first or second drive system. To return to the original points, motors 1Y1, 1Y2 are each driven by a predetermined amount equal to the parameter part of the first C-phase signal to come from the motors 1Y1, 1Y2 immediately after a portal mechanism 3 has passed the limit switch 4Y.
