PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately adjust an amount of data accumulated in a data accumulation part. SOLUTION: A CPU 4 of this recording and reproducing device 1 preferentially executes music data input processing at the time of reproduction for sequentially inputting music data to the data accumulation part 7 by preferentially assigning CPU use right to a music data input task T1 at the time of reproduction rather than to an operation display task T3 as the amount of data accumulation of the music data to be accumulated in the data accumulation part 7 decreases at the time of music reproduction processing.
