PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust clearance between the regulating portion 8a of a holder 8 and a lid body 7. SOLUTION: The car sheet reclining device has a machine frame 5 coupled to a sheet cushion, a lid body 7 coupled to a sheet back and freely rotatable relative to the machine frame 5, a holder 8 covering outer peripheral faces of the machine frame 5 and the lid body 7 and having a pair of regulating portions 8a, 8b regulating relative movement in an axial direction of both of them, and main bosses 8c formed an opposite face of the regulating portion 8a facing the lid body 7 and having the end portion of a substantial spherical face, a plurality of auxiliary bosses 8d with a triangular pyramid shape crosssection are formed in the opposite face, the projecting height of the auxiliary bosses 8d is set larger a predetermined value than that of the main bosses 8c.
