PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse a clear case disposed conventionally. SOLUTION: This prefuel filter is composed of a case unit 22 storing a filter element 31 in a case 23 formed by a metallic thin plate and attached to a filter head 14 detachably, a case ring 38 which is attached to a lower end of the case unit 22, whose outer peripheral face has larger diameter than outside diameter of the case 23, and in which a screw part 40 is formed at the downward inner periphery, and the clear case 42 fixed to the screw part 40 in the case ring 38 by a screw.
