PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardware resource providing system capable of providing a plurality of users with physically separated hardware resources and a method for providing the hardware resources. SOLUTION: An ASP system 1 comprises: the hardware resources 171-174 which can be allocated to client machines 2A-2C; master machines 15A-15C for transmitting processing result by the hardware resources 171-174 to the client machines 2A-2C; a switch part 14 capable of physically connecting or disconnecting the master machines 15A-15C and the client machines 2A-2C; a switch part 16 capable of physically connecting or disconnecting the master machines 15A-15C and the hardware resources 171-174; and a switch control part 12 for controlling the switch parts 14 and 16.
