PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a divided die for extruding aluminum, which die can reduce the variation of the thickness of the extruded shape aluminum in its longitudinal direction caused by the extrusion, and further to provide the extruded shape aluminum in which the variation of its thickness in its longitudinal direction has been reduced as much as possible by using the divided die. SOLUTION: The divided die 1 is overlappingly formed by fitting a die body 11 having a bearing opening 12 and a counter bored ring 14 having a counter bore portion 15 by means of an outer peripheral fitting step portion 13 and a fitting projection 16, and further by joining them using pins 17. The shape aluminum is extruded by means of the divided die 1. The die body 11 and the counter bored ring 14 are fitted with each other by means of the outer peripheral fitting step portion 13 and the fitting projection 16, and further are integrated by inserting the pins 17 into receiving holes with a clearance formed thereon. Because the deformation of the counter bored ring 14 in the horizontal direction due to the load caused by the extruding pressure is absorbed by the counter bored ring 14, the shape of the bearing opening 12 can be maintained. As a result, the variation of the thickness of the extruded shape aluminum due to the variation of the shape of the bearing opening 12 can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
