<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological discrimination device, an authentication device and a biological discrimination method, capable of effectively performing biological discrimination even for an imitation having a similar structure as an eye of a living body, such as an artificial eye. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises a second light source part 8 for emitting a linear light beam to the vicinity of an eye of a person 30 to be authenticated, a pickup part 2 for picking up the eye of the person 30 to which the light beam is emitted by the second light source part 8, and a biological discrimination part 65 for discriminating whether or not the person 30 to be a living body based on the picture in the vicinity of the eye of the person 30 picked up by the pickup part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
