<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify each device while keeping a security property of a vehicle, when an anti-theft device and a remote starting device are mounted in one vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving a remote starting command signal from a remote controller 60, the vehicle starts an engine in case that a start permitting condition is satisfied (S220: YES). Then, when detecting that the vehicle is manually operated (S240), if it is determined that collating is OK (S260: YES), traveling of the vehicle is permitted. If it is determined that collating is NG (S260: NG), the engine is stopped (S290). Therefore, when a remote start ECU 40 starts an engine ECU 30, the engine ECU 30 can start the engine while keeping the security property of the vehicle, without executing processing for collating a remote controlling password code and a remote controlling reference code. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
