PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine oil supply mechanism capable of ensuring cooling performance by engine oil without increasing capacity of an oil pan provided in an engine. SOLUTION: This oil supply mechanism has a storage means (an oil tank 3) in the outside of the engine for storing engine oil, oil supply lines 5, 51i, 53i communicating the storage means (the oil tank 3) with the engine 1 to supply oil, pump means 4, 4A for adding head to oil in the oil supply lines 5, 51i, 53i, detection means 6, 8, 9 for detecting a condition of the engine 1, and control means 10, 10A, 10B, 10C. The control means 10, 10A, 10B, 10C operate the pump means 4, 4A based on the results of detection by the detection means 6, 8, 9 to control so that proper amount of oil is supplied for the engine 1.
