PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed vessel for suppressing a plunge of a bow into waves in sailing of the high-speed vessel, and alleviating wave impact on a bow. SOLUTION: A bow frame line above a water surface D. W. L. is formed into an S-shape in a cross-sectional shape of a perpendicular line part of the bow, and a flare angleθof the bow frame line has a tilt angle of 0 to 20 degrees on the water surface. The flare angleθis smoothly increased with an increase of vessel width, and has an angle of 30 to 50 degrees when a value Bn obtained by dividing the vessel width b on the bow frame line by a maximum vessel width B10 in the cross-sectional shape is in the range of 0.3 to 0.6. The flare angleθis smoothly reduced with a further increase in the vessel width b, and has a tilt angle of 0 to 20 degrees in the maximum vessel width B10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
