PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of obtaining an electrodeposition film having the same performance as that of a conventional one in weather resistance, durability, chemical resistance, solvent resistance, appearance, designability or the like and exhibiting low contamination property more excellent than before and to obtain a coated article on which the electrodeposition film is applied. SOLUTION: The electrodeposition film exhibiting excellent low contamination property is obtained by surface-treating a coating film formed by anion type or cation type electrodeposition coating with alkoxy silane or the partially hydrolyzed condensation product and after that, baking and drying it at 100-250°C.
