<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective guide for cables and the like by which side-plates are prevented from coming off unexpectedly from coupling parts during repetitive bending actions, durability is improved by avoiding load prone to occur at bent parts in the case of forcing to take a bending-posture, and besides load of working for manufacturing and assembling the components can be lessened, and maintenance work for partly cutting off and patching the side-plate is facilitated. <P>SOLUTION: In the protective guide 100 for cables and the like, side-plates 110, 110 disposed right and left as a pair are integrated with the forward side-plates 111 coupled with the preceding side-plates 110, and backward side-plates 111 coupled with following side-plates 110', and flexible couplings 113 placed respectively between the forward side-plates 111 and backward side-plates 112.
