FIELD: safety arrangements for slowing, redirecting or stopping errant vehicles, particularly continuous barriers extending between traffic lanes to prevent accident spreading into contrary movement lane. ^ SUBSTANCE: reinforced concrete barrier is made as reinforced concrete beam with expanded base supported by strip foundation located under the base. The foundation is made as panel with openings for anchoring means receiving. Openings for anchoring means receiving are also formed from lower part of expanded beam base and extend along vertical axis passing through center of gravity defined in reinforced concrete beam cross-section. The anchoring means are arranged along longitudinal axis of reinforced concrete beam. Each anchoring means is made as truncated pyramid having apex facing downwards. Larger pyramid base supports the panel. Tail having rectangular section is formed from larger pyramid side and passes into panel orifice so that the tail enters expanded base of the reinforced concrete beam. At least one side surface of reinforced concrete beam is defined by matching upper side plane with lower side plane along cylindrical surface. The lower side plane passes into vertical surface in lower part of beam base expansion. Lower side surface height is equal to radius of cylindrical surface, which matches lower side surface with upper side surface having height of not less than double lower side surface height. Lower side surface defines horizontal projection in reinforced concrete beam section equal to doubled length of horizontal projection of upper side surface in the same beam section. ^ EFFECT: prevention of overturning of vehicle colliding at an angle with barrier, increased barrier stability under dynamic action applied thereto, improved maintainability and reduced labor inputs for barrier assembling and disassembling. ^ 5 cl, 6 dwg |
