Satd. polyester resin bottle with decorative coating applied by cleaning the bottle, e.g., by immersion in freon solvent followed by 5 min. ultrasonic treatment, then applying successively chlorinated PP solvent as primer, which is allowed to dry naturally 2 - 3 min., an acrylic undercoat, which is dried 2 - 3 hrs. at ca. 55 deg. C, a decorative coating, e.g. a layer of polarised pearl paint with transparent pigment or blue pigment added to titanium nitride, and then a protective top coat of two- pack urethane material. For lettering, etc., a removable master coat is applied first.. Decorative coating remains in firm adhesion.
