UNIT TO CUT THE TOPS AND CLEAN THE HEADS OF ROOTS

A unit to cut the tops and to clean the heads of roots consisti of a vertical shaft, whereon a disk with knives and working elements is arranged. The disk is arranged horizontally or at a little angle to the horizontal line and it is equipped with scimitar-shape knives and feeler working elements as resilient rods attached to the disk. The rods aresmoothly bent at ends thereof, the cleaning working surfaces are plates which are rigidly fixed on the rods at an angle to the horizontal and vertical planes.
