PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system that enables an operator to perform focus adjustment without viewing a display. SOLUTION: The image processing system 1 comprises: an imaging means 10 for photographing an object 6; a focus adjusting means 12 for adjusting the focus of the imaging means 10; an image data storing means 30 for storing the image of the object photographed by the imaging means 10 as electronic data; a focus determination means 41 for determining the focusing degree based on image data 31 stored on the image data storing means 30; an illumination means 4 for illuminating the object 6; and an illumination control means 23 that changes the blink intervals of the illumination means 4 based on the focusing degree and turns the illumination means 4 on when it is in focus.
