FUEL CELL ELECTRODE AND FUEL CELL USING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell electrode excellent in heat resistant property, capable of manifesting proton conductivity at low temperature, and to provide a fuel cell using the same capable of operating at higher temperature than before.

SOLUTION: The fuel cell electrode is composed of at least a proton conductive glass and a catalyst. It is preferable that the proton conductive glass is made of glass constituent containing oxide of phosphorus as a main component. The conductive glass is used as an electrolyte and the fuel cell electrode is formed on both surface of the glass.
