<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merit (trace of input signal and demodulation process independent from the bit period of demodulation signal) with respect to a coherent demodulation without a synchronizing loop for frequency and phase. <P>SOLUTION: The coherent demodulation system for the binary phase shift keying (BPSK) signal of the frequency f is provided with a means for restoring the transfer wave signal (C) of the frequency 2f from the BPSK signal, an implantation synchronizing oscillator (ILO) having a proper resonance frequency f<SB>r</SB>(≈f) or a means for pouring the signal of frequency 2f into the implantation synchronizing oscillator generating a differential output (O<SB>p</SB>, O<SB>n</SB>) for restoring the original transfer wave having a phase deviation of (θ<SB>e</SB>-k)/2 and a means for coupling the copy of BPSK signal and the differential output (O<SB>p</SB>, O<SB>n</SB>) for generating a demodulation signal (DEMOD). Here, θ<SB>e</SB>= arc sin ((f<SB>r</SB>-f)/(αA<SB>i</SB>f)), α, k are parameters depending on a dominant non-linear kind in the implantation synchronous oscillator and A<SB>i</SB>is the amplitude of restored transfer wave signal with the frequency 2f. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
