<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston for a reciprocating compressor including: a head part inserted into a cylinder bore; a driving source engagement part engaged with a driving source; a columnar hollow part formed in the head part; and an opening formed in an end face on an engagement part side of the head part to reduce difference in pressure between the inside and the outside of the head part, wherein a measure is taken for suppressing leakage of resonance sound generated from the hollow part in the piston head part to the outside through the opening. <P>SOLUTION: The piston has the head part inserted into the cylinder bore, and a driving source engagement part engaged with the driving source. The columnar hollow part of diameter×length = 29.5 mm±1 mm×35 mm±1 mm is formed in the head part. An opening of the area of 10 mm<SP>2</SP>±2 mm<SP>2</SP>is formed in the end face on the engagement side of the head part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
