PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously drive fasteners such as a nail or a screw at equal spaces while moving a fastener driver in an arbitrary direction such as from bottom to top or in the lateral direction. SOLUTION: This fastener driver includes a nose part 4 forming a shot port 5 for feeding and guiding a fastener to a construction material, wherein the fastener disposed in the shot port 5 is fed from the shot port and driven in the construction material through a driving mechanism. The fastener driver includes an optical means 13 for applying spot-like ray of light to the surface of the construction material at a predetermined distance from the axis of the shot port 5 of the nose part 4.
