PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail system allowing the transmission of a plurality of files by folder designation, and the automatic creation of an attached file list. SOLUTION: The number of the files in a designated folder is acquired, and a consecutive number is added to a title of mail on the basis of the acquired number. File information in the designated folder is acquired, and an extract is prepared and added to a mail body as a postscript.
