PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drain off water excellently without damaging thermal safety by a cover. SOLUTION: This vacuum double container is provided with a metal container 4 in which a vacuum space 3 is formed between an inner cylinder 1 and an outer cylinder 2, and a cover member 5 on the outer periphery of the metal container 4. In order to perform electromagnetic induction heating from the side of a single bottom part 7 of the metal container 4, the single bottom part 7 extends to the lower part of the body part 4a of the metal container 4. The cover member 5 is positioned below a mouth part outer peripheral wall almost vertically lowered from the upper end of the container mouth 8 of the metal container 4 and is positioned above the bottom surface 4c of the metal container 4.
