PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection circuit to detect remained capacity of a secondary battery with high accuracy in which a chip area is decreased and cost reduction is attained. SOLUTION: The detection circuit (10A) of the remained capacity of the secondary battery (300) includes a voltage dividing circuit (20) which divides a reference voltage (Vref) and outputs a first to an (N)th (N is an integer of two or more) divided reference voltages (V<SB>1</SB>to V<SB>N</SB>), and one comparator (31), wherein the circuit further includes a sequential comparison circuit (30A) which receives a battery voltage (Vcc) of the secondary battery as an input voltage (V<SB>IN</SB>), and sequentially compares the input voltage (V<SB>IN</SB>) with the first to the (N)th divided reference voltages (V<SB>1</SB>to V<SB>N</SB>) using the comparator (31), then sequentially outputs a signal resulting from such comparison.
