PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder in which decision can be made whether an input image is an image of a specific type or not by stopping the output processing of the input image. SOLUTION: A multifunction machine 10 comprising an image scanner 40 for reading the image of a document, a means for determining whether an image read by an image scanner 40 is an image of a specific type such as a bill or not, a section 30 for recording a read-out image to a sheet, and a recording control means for permitting or forbidding the recording of a read image at the image recording section 30 based on determination results from the image determination means is further provided with an operation panel 42 for receiving an instruction of determination operation. When the operation panel 42 receives an instruction of determination operation, the recording control means forbids the recording of the read image at the image recording section 30 regardless of determination results by the image determination means.
