PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well print an image in which character data and image data are mixed. SOLUTION: The image forming device uses an image processing method suited to character data such as a dither method, when a certain area is judged to be character data. When a certain area is judged to be image data, the image forming device uses an image processing method suited to image data such as an error diffusion method, a blue noise method or the like.
