PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerized toner excellent in cleaning property by a cleaning blade, free from generation of decrease in image density or fogging, and hardly causing decrease in resolution even in long-term printing, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the polymerized toner, and an image forming method using the polymerized toner. SOLUTION: The polymerized toner is manufactured by a method characterized in that in a step of preparing liquid drops of a polymerizable monomer composition, a device having a dispersing machine and a dispersion liquid supply tank is used to form liquid drops while circulating the liquid, the dispersing machine is equipped with a stirring blade or a rotor, the stirring blade or the rotor has≥30 m/s circumferential velocity R (m/s), and an alkali metal hydroxide is added to the dispersion liquid of the polymerizable monomer composition until the polymerization inversion rate of the polymerizable monomer reaches 90%.
