<p>A connector capable of preventing a pressing member from being inserted into a connector body when a connected object is not fully inserted into the connector body. Each locking part (15) is formed of a non-elastic member, and the thickness dimension of the pressing piece (32) of the pressing member (30) is formed to be gradually reduced from a maximum value equal to a distance between the each locking part (15) and a fixed piece part (21) toward the tip side. Accordingly, unless a flexible cable (A) is fully inserted into the connector body (10), the pressing member (30) cannot be inserted into the rear side of the connector body (10) and the flexible cable (A) is not electrically connected in an incompletely inserted state. As a result, the connector can securely prevent the flexible cable (A) from coming out of the connector body (10) and a displacement from occurring between the flexible cable (A) and the elastic piece part (22) of each terminal (20) which may cause poor contact.</p> |
