<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of easily improving the positioning accuracy in a structure for positioning a display panel. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 1 includes a case body 2, a pair of projecting positioning portions (first and second positioning portions) 2c and 2d provided in the case body 2 so as to face each other, a display panel (liquid crystal panel) 5 disposed so as to be placed between the positioning portions 2c and 2d in the case body 2, and another case body (facing) 6 which is disposed so as to be placed in front of the display panel 5 in the case body 2 and has a window portion 6a for exposing the display panel 5.
