The method involves signaling whether a vehicle moves along or away from a target trajectory by changing auxiliary strength at a steering wheel. The vehicle moves along the trajectory when force applied for an operation of steering wheel by a driver is largely increased. The vehicle moves away from the target trajectory when the applied force is slightly increased. The movements of the vehicle are in the vehicle longitudinal direction.
