<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decomposition treatment apparatus for endocrine disrupters capable of effectively bringing liquid containing the endocrine disrupter into contact with a photocatalyst, sufficiently irradiating the photocatalyst with light, and preventing dirt and slurry from adhering to or accumulating on a matter carrying the photocatalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The decomposition treatment apparatus 18 comprises a circular cylindrical wing 7 rotatably provided inside an inner tank 15 and an outer tank 16 provided outside the inner tank 15 for discharging the treated liquid. The circular cylinder wing 7 is constituted by forming a circular ring-like wing 5 concentrically formed on the top of a hollow circular cylinder 6, and a photocatalyst (not shown in Fig.) is disposed on its surface. An introduction port 18 is formed in the inner tank 15, a discharge port 9 is formed in the outer tank 16 and a lid 4 is placed on the outer tank 16. The lid 4 is provided with a light transmission window 14 made of a transparent or translucent material, and is further provided with an ultraviolet light source 17 for ultraviolet irradiation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
