PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air refrigerant type refrigerator suitable for continuous operation for a long period. SOLUTION: A cyclone type dust collector is interposed in a circulation route for the air refrigerant of the air refrigerant type refrigerator. The refrigerator comprises means for reducing frost adhered to the inner wall of a cyclone. These means include, for example, the layer of snow sliding agent formed in the inner wall of the cyclone and an ultrasonic vibrator installed on the outer wall of the cyclone. Other than these means, the refrigerator comprises a means covering the inner wall of the cyclone with glass fibers and rubbing off the front by pushing and pulling the glass fiber from the outside of the cyclone. Accordingly, even if the frost is adhered to the inner wall of the cyclone which can be easily defrosted without stopping the operation. In this refrigerator, since the supply of cooling air is not stopped for defrosting, dry cooling air is continuously supplied to the refrigerator over a long period. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
